Race Day
Sunday, August 30, 2026. Everything you need for the morning — where to park, how to reach the start, and when you run.
Start times
- 5K
- 7:30 AM
- 1 Mile
- 8:45 AM
Getting there
There is one parking lot, and it is not at the start line. Everyone rides the shuttle in.
Park at O'Hara Elementary School, 115 Cabin Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. The lot opens at 6:30 AM.
Two buses run from the lot down Field Club Road to Hemlock Hollow, dropping at McCahill Park right by the start. The first leaves at 6:45 AM and the last one back goes at 11:00 AM.
The lots nearest the start — Scott, McCahill and Salamander — are closed to the public from the night before. Please do not drive to the start line looking for a space; leave yourself time for the bus instead.
Bib pickup
Saturday if you possibly can. It genuinely helps us, and it means you are not queuing when you could be warming up.
Saturday, August 29, 2026 — the Borough Building, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are a small volunteer team, and every bib collected on Saturday is one less thing between us and getting you to the start on time.
If you cannot make it, you can pick up on race morning — and register on the day too. Both close 5 minutes before your own race starts.
- 5K — pickup and registration close at 7:25 AM
- 1 Mile — pickup and registration close at 8:40 AM
